Bachchan family pays tax of Rs 37.55 cr

Reportedly, actor Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will collectively pay income-tax of Rs. 37.55 crore for the year ending March 2011. Bachchans have been one of the highest tax paying family of the Bollywood town from last few years.

Year 2010-11 has been one of the most profitable year for the Bachchans as all of them had multiple releases in this year. They have even done a lot of commercial ads, which adds up to the impressive amount collectively.

In the past actors like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Shahrukh Khan have also been listed out as the highest tax payers with amount like Rs 18 crores, Rs 15.10 crores and Rs 14 crores, respectively.
