Bipasha Basu officially signed up for movie Raaz 3

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has officially been signed up for the third installment of the hit movie Raaz. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt himself has confirmed her casting on his Twitter account. John Abraham's ex-girlfriend will star alongside actors Emraan Hashmi, Jacqueline Fernandes in the forthcoming project Raaz 3.

On his Twitter page, Vikram Bhatt shared his excitement about roping in Emraan, Jacqueline and Bipasha for Raaz 3. The filmmaker said, "So it is official now...the cast of Raaz 3- Emraan, Jacqueline and ..... Bipasha Basu!" Vikram added, "Bipasha fans out there! How do you like the name Shanaya for her Character in Raaz 3?"

Vikram Bhatt's 2002 thriller Raaz was a big commercial success and Bipasha Basu has received lots of accolades for her performance in the film. She even got her first Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare for the movie. But the actress could not make it its sequel Raaz - The Mystery Continues, released in 2009.

Now, Bipasha Basu is returning to the Raaz franchise almost after a decade. The B-Town star tweeted, "A big shout out to a dear friend thevikrambhatt! Do welcome him to twitterverse! Looking forward to Raaz 3." However, Vikram Bhatt is also returning to Vishesh Films for Raaz 3.
