Dabangg officially released on YouTube

The biggest blockbuster of the year 2010 which marked as a bang on com back of actor Salman Khan now can be freely viewed on YouTube. The entire film has been officially released on the online video site owned by Google.

The film directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan is the first Indian blockbuster movie to be released on YouTube as an model for advertisement. With the entire film, important clippings and super hit songs will also be available on the site.

The Director of Content Partnerships (Japan-Asia Pacific) of Google, Gautam Anand explained to TOI, “This initiative marks a major shift in the way movies have been traditionally distributed and opens up a new business opportunity for movie producers and distributors alike."

Hindustan Unilever is the exclusive sponsor for the movie Dabangg on YouTube India. However, this film will only be available to the users in India and rest of countries IP address will be blocked so that they do not get the access to the film.
