Deepika misses Dum Maaro Dum item song launch

Deepika Padukone chooses to attend a friend's wedding instead of unveiling her sizzling item number in the film Dum Maaro Dum. The actress has already taken off to Thailand to attend a close friend's wedding.

Deepika Padukone was supposed to unveil the Dum Maaro Dum item number, which is also the title track during the India-South Africa World Cup match on March 12. But the actress thought to give it a miss by giving priority to her friends marriage. Deepika gave an excuse by saying that she is committed to shooting in Bhopal for Prakash Jha's Aarakshan.

However, keeping everything aside Deepika has taken break and when her friend gave a call and invited her. The actress was overwhelmed and instantly decide on going for the wedding. She then made her film schedules changed to attend her friends marriage.

The actress however, made sure that she completes her part of shooting for Prakash Jha's Aarakshan, so that the team doesn't suffer. Apart from attending the wedding Deepika also plans to catch up her close girl pals and pamper herself with a massage too.

Meanwhile, the other cast of the film Dum Maaro Dum Abhishek Bachchan, Prateik Babbar, Rana Daggubatti and Bipasha Basu are expected to attend the launch of the item number.
