Deepika Padukone chooses dad's love over lover's

Actress Deepika Padukone has revealed that she would choose the love of a dad over the love of a lover because according to her, a father's love is permanent as compared to a lover's. She said this on being asked what she would do if she were to be faced in such a situation, because her character in Prakash Jha's Aarakshan faces a very similar situation.

In this movie which deals with the problems of caste reservation, Deepika plays the character of a girl who gets caught in a dilemma and has to choose between her two lovers played by Saif Ali Khan and Prateik Babbar and her dad played by Amitabh Bachchan.
