Deepika's reform item number in DMD

Here we have Bollywood's leggy lass who is all set to take us on a musical ride with her hot item number in Rohan Sippy's film Dum Maaro Dum, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Prateik Babbar and Bipasha Basu. Roshan Sippy promises to bring to the audience an entirely new concept of item songs very different from Munni Badnam and Sheila Ki Jawani.

This will be the first time that people will see Deepika will be showing off her image as an item girl in a film. Reportedly, the song has turned out to be an iconic one with Deepika in a total transformed avatar. There was a lot of planning before giving Deepika the 'Dum Maaro Dum' look for the item number.

The maker of the film, Rohan Sippy, is very happy with the final result of the song. He said that Deepika Padukone has broken all her hesitations, fears and taboos and has gotten into the mood of the song Dum Maaro Dum, which suggests attitude and breaking free.

Looks like the girl has discovered a new avatar in her with the film Dum Maaro Dum, which will hit the screens on April 22. The film is being presented by Fox Star Studios.
