their
forthcoming
film
Desi
Boyz
bears
no
similarity
to
their
previous
movie
Garam
Masala.
Speaking
about
the
movie,
Akshay
Kumar
told
reporters,
“Many
people
ask
me
whether
this
is
Garam
Masala
Part
2,
but
I
tell
them
there
is
no
similarity
with
it.
The
characters
are
different
in
this
movie
than
Garam
Masala.
In
fact,
in
this
movie
we
also
have
a
message
which
says
wherever
you
stay
never
leave
your
parents
and
the
roots."

in
a
Mumbai

as

of
their
promotional
activity
for
Desi
Boyz.
The
film
marks
the
directorial
debut
of
Rohit
Dhawan,
David
Dhawan's
son.
Terming
Desi
Boyz
as
a
'dramedy'
