Desi
Boyz
stars
like
John
Abraham,
Akshay
Kumar,
Deepika
Padukone
and
Chitrangada
Singh,
who
are
busy
promoting
the
film,
may
be
all
excited
to
rock
the
audience.
But
David's
son
Rohit
Dhawan,
who
is
debuting
as
director
with
this
movie,
is
not
very
happy.
He
is
upset
because
the
Central
Board
of
Film
Certification
(CBFC)
has
given
an
'A'
Certificate.
Rohit's
dad
David
Dhawan
has
never
got
an
A-rating
in
his
entire
career
and
his
disappointment
comes
from
the
fact
that
his
debut
directorial
venture
Desi
Boyz
has
received
it.
Talking
to
the
media,
Rohit
Dhawan
said,
"I'm
extremely
disappointed
and
saddened
by
the
censors'
verdict.
I've
made
a
positive
feel-good
film.
I
think
it'll
go
down
as
the
cleanest
'A'
certified
film
ever."
However,
the
movie
Desi
Boyz
is
a
family
entertainer
and
director
Rohit
Dhawan
wanted
the
Censor
Board
to
give
at
least
U/A
certificate.
But
CBFC
regional
officer
JP
Singh
turned
down
his
request.
Now,
Rohit
is
very
sad
that
the
'A'
certificate
would
curtail
his
potential
audience-profile
drastically.
