Dharmendra to be honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Award

The original He-Man of Bollywood, Dharmendra, who is the original shirtless wonder even before Salman Khan came into picture, will be felicitated with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. The secretary of Dada Saheb Phalke Academy, Prabhat Pandey revealed the news recently at Mumbai.

Recently, the 67th birthday of the legend of Indian cinema, Dada Saheb, was celebrated at Dada Saheb Phalke Chitra Nagaro in Gorgoan, Mumbai. Many celebrities were present at the event; Chandrashekhar, Vikram, Johny Liver, Anu Malik, Divya Desai, Gracy Singh, Sangram Shirke, Meena Jalan, Shyam Vaghde, Vitthal Rathod, Prabhat Pandey, Santosh Singh Jain, Chunnu Mehra, Ramgopal Gupta, Girendra Kumar Awasthi, and Dharmendra Kharwar were some among them.

Aamir Khan who prefers to stay away from the award functions, will be present at the Dada Saheb Phalke award function to cheer Dharmendra for the honour.
