Farhan-Salman aren't great friends!

Farhan Akhtar has worked with two of the most sought after Khans in Bollywood, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan but he is yet to work with a person, who knows him since his childhood. Well, it is none other than Salman Khan. The Karthik Calling Karthik star said that he approached the Dabangg actor for quite a few films but it could not be materialized.

The filmmaker-turned-actor says that he went to Salman Khan with several scripts, which he felt was tailor-made role. But he was busy with other projects. As a result, they never worked together. It goes without saying that Farhan Akhtar's father Javed Akhtar and Salman's papa Salim Khan, who created history by writing together some wonderful scripts, parted ways three decades ago. Since then, their families also stayed away from each other.

Farhan claims that he does not have any issue to work with Salman Khan.“I have absolutely no problem collaborating with him. My banner has approached him previously and will keep approaching him. After that, it is his decision if he wants to do a film with us or not." The Times of India quoted the actor as saying.

Revealing about their bonding, the Dil Chahata Hai director says ,“We are not great friends but I grew up with Salman. He taught me cycling and swimming." However, Salman Khan's siblings Sohail, Arbaaz, Alvira are very close friends. Their family issues have not stopped them from bonding each other, concludes the director.
