Hema Malini ready for a big battle with Shahrukh Khan

Actor Shahrukh Khan has done lot of promotional work to make his latest movie Ra.One, which is slated to release this Diwali and not many filmmakers dare to fight with the Bollywood Superstar. But actress-turned-producer Hema Malini is ready for a big battle with SRK and she is releasing her home production Tell Me O Khuda along with Ra.One.

In an interview with the Times of India, Hema Malini defended her move by saying that not everyone watch one movie. "When Shahrukh's film can make it to the theatres for Diwali, why can't my film release on the same day? I can also have the privilege to show my production on the big day. It's not as if everyone will watch only one film during Diwali," the TOI quotes Hema as saying.

However, film Tell Me O Khuda was ready to release along with Katrina Kaif's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, but Hema Malini says that she delayed the movie due to shraad period. Another reason for delaying it is that Hema wanted Esha's film to hit the screens during the Diwali holidays.
