Juhi Chawla says she didn't lash out at Shahrukh Khan

Juhi Chawla, has at a recent event brushed aside her emotional outburst after Shahrukh Khan acknowledged her brother Bobby Chawla for his contribution in Ra.One. In response to SRK's acknowledgement at the time, Juhi Chawla had said, “The acknowledgement has come in too little too late." Bobby Chawla is now hospitalised and in a state of coma.

However, brushing aside the statement, Juhi said that her outburst was a result of mixed emotions. Speaking to a leading newspaper, Juhi said, “The other day I was coming back from Gautam Rajadhyaksha's condolence meet when the media asked what I thought of SRK. In that emotional state, I said why do we talk about a person when he is not around? How many times have we said how much a person means to us when that person is around? The whole thing was blown out of proportion by the media. There's nothing like 'Juhi lashes out at SRK'.

However, Shahrukh Khan and Juhi haven't spoken to each other since her outburst. The actress said, “Shahrukh does not have time. He is a workaholic. He works 20 hours a day, so where is the time?" Meanwhile, Juhi Chawla is also busy promoting her TV show Badmash Company.

Juhi Chawla, however does not regret the statement she made and sticks to it. She says, “The acknowledgement sure came late in the day."
