Kareena denies eating non-veg for a scene

Kareena Kapoor recently was seen throwing tantrums on the sets of Short Term Shaadi. Reportedly, Kareena was supposed to eat scrambled egg to shoot a breakfast scene set in a US cafe with co-actor Imran Khan. However, Kareena directly denied director Shakun Batra.

Kareena demanded that she will not eat scrambled egg, instead they can shoot the scene with eggless pancakes. After a lot of argument and discussion the director finally gave up and agreed to Kareena's demand.

Kareena, who plays a hairstylist in the film Short Term Shaadi said that she has given up eating non-vegetarian food six-year ago. She added that she told her problem to the director of the film and he was co-operative enough to follow.

She made her stance clear to Mid Day, when argued that the scene required egg eating, "Even if the scene required it, I won't have such food. I have laid down that rule and explain my stance when I'm doing any film."
