Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue to be unveiled in Madame Tussauds

In a special event to be held in October, Kareena Kapoor's wax statue will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds. Kareena will also flag off a global exhibition where Bollywood wax figures situated at Madame Tussauds will travel to six cities including London, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

The other prominent Bollywood personalities to be waxed at the famous Madame Tussauds include Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.

While all other Bollywood celebrities have their wax statues at Madame Tussauds, London, Kareena is the only Bollywood celebrity to have her statue at the museum in Blackpool.

Speaking to PTI, Kareena Kapoor said, “It is an honour and a privilege for me to have my wax-figure at Madame Tussauds and even more so to flag off a global Bollywood exhibition."
