Just
one
year
down
the
time
line,
actress
Katrina
Kaif
was
definitely
not
a
big
name.
While
some
couldn't
connect
to
her
screen
presence,
other
staunch
Indians
couldn't
accept
her
because
of
her
half-Asian
half-British
ways.
Katrina
however
worked
hard
to
make
a
space
in
the
hearts
of
movie
lovers,
so
much
so
that
the
entire
world
today
is
dancing
to
the
tracks
of
'Sheila
Ki
Jawani'.
Katrina,
who
now
ranks
among
the
top
most
grossers
of
Bollywood
says
that
she
finds
nothing
wrong
in
her
western
mixed
Indian
ethnicity.
Making
a
comparison
to
Rahul
Gandhi
and
his
ethnicity,
Katrina
told
TOI,
“I"m
not
the
only
half-Asian
half-British
person
on
this
planet!
My
passport"s
copies
are
with
every
news
channel
in
this
country.
Should
I
be
ashamed
that
I
am
only
half
Asian?
Rahul
Gandhi
is
half
Indian,
half
Italian.
So?
I
am
very
proud
of
what
I
am
and
I
don"t
understand
the
confusion
as
if
I
am
trying
to
hide
that
my
mother
is
British.
Why
would
I?"
Talking
further
Katrina
says
that
right
now
she
is
at
a
'calm
place'
of
her
life
and
has
struggled
hard
to
achieve
this
happiness.
She
says
that
she
no
more
feels
inferior
in
India,
rather
she
is
among
people
who
appreciate
her
and
consider
her
beautiful.
Katrina
was
recently
seen
in
the
film
Zindagi
Na
Milegi
Dobara
opposite
superstar
Hrithik
Roshan.
The
actress
will
soon
be
seen
in
films
like
Mere
Brother
Ki
Dulhan
with
Imran
Khan,
Ek
Tha
Tiger
with
Salman
Khan,
Dhoom
3
with
Aamir
Khan,
etc.
