Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey enters Oscars library

Though Ashutosh Gowariker's film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone failed to raise the flag high at Box Office, it however has managed to be a part of the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences archives.

The Oscars library has asked Gowariker for the screenplay of the film which will be a permanent treasure in their core collection for the research of the future filmmakers, writers, actors and students worldwide.


The film has been presented by PVR Pictures and co-produced by Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev Bijli and Sunita A. Gowariker talks about a large group of young people who fought the a battle for India's freedom during the Chittagong Uprising 1930-34.

The film taken from the journalist Manini Chatterjee's book “Do & Die-The Chittagong Uprising 1930-34." Screenplays of films like Rock On!!, Raajneeti and Action Replayy have also made it to the prestigious Oscar library.
