Lara Dutta confirms her pregnancy

Actress Lara Dutta has finally confirmed that she is pregnant with her first baby. Earlier, speculations were being made that she and Mahesh Bhupathi were expecting their first child. But the couple had refrained from making any comments. Now, the Bollywood actress says that she is very excited and looking forward a tennis player.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Lara Dutta opened up on her pregnancy. The actress said, “Yes, I'm pregnant and I am very excited." When asked about her denial of pregnancy in the past. She
added, “We have never denied it. There is a time and place to talk about every phase of life and this is a personal matter. We felt this is the right time to announce it and hence we have."

Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi are all excited about the new addition in their lives. When asked about their expectations, the Chalo Dilli star says, “Mahesh is pushing for a Bollywood star and I am pushing for a tennis player, so it's going to be a battle!"

However, there were speculation that Lara Dutta, who is looking forward to the release of movie Don 2, would say goodbye to her film career post-pregnancy. But the actress has made it clear that she will never stop doing what she enjoys doing the most.
