Mahesh Bhatt chooses Blood Money

Mahesh Bhatt, who is overwhelmed after the success of Murder 2, has moved on for his next. The filmmaker, who asked his fans to suggest a title for his upcoming film, has finalized the name as Blood Money.

The director recently asked his Twitter followers to suggest the title of the film. He wrote, “I am looking for an attractive title for my new film staring Kunal Khemu & Amrita Puri. HELP!" Mahesh wrote on Twitter."

The movie was earlier titled Jannat 2 but Mahesh Bhatt decided to change after his fans did not like the it. "Listening to you folks has made me decide not to call my new film Jannat 2. Thank you! Acknowledging others makes them happier & u wiser," Bhatt posted.

Earlier today, he announced the name of his next project. “BLOOD MONEY is the title for our Kunal Khemu and Amrita Puri film, which is directed by a brilliant new director Vishal Mahadkar."

Blood Money is a coming of age tale, where a young a man pursues a dream job but it turns into a nightmare. A well-placed source claims that as the title suggests the movie is about some sort of compensation paid by an offender to to the family of a murder victim.
