Mahesh wants to grow old with Lara

It was the day of love, commitment, promises and marriage. Actress Lara Dutta and tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi exchanged their wedding vows in Goa amongst their close family members and friends. It was then when Bhupathi expressed his love for Lara by saying, “I look forward to growing old with you."

Lara, who was dressed in a white gown and decked in heavy diamond jewellery, was standing beside the man of her destiny, broke down to tears of happiness. Holding her tight with love, Bhupathi continued, “Lara, when I first met you, this day was a dream. Today it is reality. When I'm on the tour, not a day goes by without me wishing I was home with you instead, so even when I'm gone I am with you."

Well, it is the best compliment that a woman can get from her man that he always feels like being with her even if he is away from her. Bhupathi was in a mood to speak his heart out that day, he continued, "You are my companion, partner and best friend. I promise to stick by you through hits and flops. I look forward to growing old with you."

Reciprocating his love Lara also vowed to stick to Mahesh during thick and thin, 'I promise to return your serves and volley alongside you. I will be with you through our many wins and occasional loss." This emotional moment full of love filled the heart of the actress, she broke down to tears, but as promised by her man, Mahesh stood by her strong holding her in his arms, where Lara found her piece and calm.
