has
landed
up
in
legal
trouble.
Pankaj's
friend
Nawman
Malik
has
filed
a
complaint
with
the
Association
of
Motion
Pictures
and
TV
Programme
Producers
that
he
had
registered
the
title
Mausam
under
his
name.
He
also
claimed
that
the
story
of
the
film
is
his.
Malik
has
alleged
that
he
narrated
a
story
to
Pankaj
a
few
years
ago.
He
claimed
that
the
filmmaker
showed
interest
in
his
story
and
expressed
his
desire
to
make
the
film
with
his
son
Shahid.
He
went
on
to
claim
that
Pankaj
told
him
they
would
discuss
the
project
once
Shahid
returned
to
India
but
announced
the
project
without
his
knowledge.
Mallik
has
filed
a
complaint
with
the
Mumbai
High
Court
against
producer
Sheetal
Talwar
and
director
Pankaj
Kapur
for
using
the
title
Mausam
and
has
demanded
a
compensation
of
Rs.
1
crore
for
it.
