Pankaj
Kapoor's
directorial
debut
Mausam,
starring
son
Shahid
kapoor
and
Sonam
Kapoor
in
the
leads,
is
facing
problem
in
getting
clearance
from
the
Air
Force
as
they
have
objected
to
an
aerial
action
sequence
involving
Shahid
Kapoor.
Mausam,
which
is
due
to
release
on
September
16
was
to
go
into
censoring
on
Thursday.
The
objection
by
the
Air
Force
comes
in
as
a
shock
for
the
makers
of
Mausam
as
they
had
sought
special
permission
to
shoot
in
a
real
airbase.
The
Air
Force
is
reportedly
unhappy
over
a
dramatic
action
fight
sequence
that
had
Shahid
Kapoor
on
board
Mirage
fighter
plane.
Speaking
to
a
leading
website,
Mausam
Producer
Sheetal
Talwar
expressed
disappointment
and
said,
“We
had
the
script
cleared
by
the
Air
Force
on
August
23,
2010.
Now
suddenly
they're
objecting
to
a
sequence
after
it's
been
shot,
edited
and
the
film
was
ready
for
censoring?"
Mausam
can
be
sent
to
the
censor
board
only
after
getting
a
clearance
from
the
Air
Force.
Sheetal
Talwar,
who
will
meet
the
officers
of
the
Air
Force
on
Friday
plans
to
move
to
court
if
the
meeting
does
not
prove
fruitful.
