Mithun Chakraborty hospitalized

Veteran Mithun Chakraborty, who is presently working on Sajid Khan's Housefull 2 in London was rushed to the hospital after he complained of severe stomach pain. After the pain intensified, Mithun was hospitalized.

On Monday the actor suddenly complained stomach ache. Thinking it to be a stomach upset due to some improper food, Mithun avoided to see a doctor and took rest for the day. But later when the actor complained of the severe pain, the unit rushed him to see the Doc. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, "Yes, Mithunda did have a bit of a setback yesterday. He had to be admitted to the hospital. But he is fine now. He's resting and recuperating in the hotel."

"It was nothing to be alarmed about. My father only had a bout of gastric trouble. He was in the hospital for a day, but has been discharged now. The shooting of Housefull 2 is over and he will return in a couple of days," informed Mithun's son Mahaakshay.
