Naseer is the boldest in The Dirty Picture, says Emraan

Actor Emraan Hashmi, who is better known as Bollywood's 'serial kisser,' seems to have been bowled over by the boldness of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah in his upcoming movie The Dirty Picture. The B-Town star says that his co-star has got bolder and dirtier in their forthcoming film.

In an exclusive interview with the PTI, Emraan Hashmi praises Naseeruddin's boldness. The actor says, "As far as the bold quotient goes...I am doing my own bold stuff but Naseer is the boldest in the film. I think he has taken all my mantle in the film and he is doing what I use to normally do in films."

Talking about his experience with Naseer, Emraan Hashmi adds, "We had two-three short scenes..there is a premiere and party shots but not many. They cross paths as they are in the same industry. Naseer is an actor, Tusshar is a struggling writer, Vidya is an actress. As you are being part of same industry so you end up meeting people."

However, The Dirty Picture, which is due for release on December 2, is inspired by sex icon Vijaylakshmi better known as Silk Smitha. The film shows the highs and lows of an actress-dancing star. Emraan is essaying the role of a director in it. The actor says, "Everyone...everything is dirty in this film. It is the dirtiest film I have done. You cannot make a dirty picture without Emraan Hashmi."

Emraan Hashmi admits that The Dirty Picture has provocative content, but denies the vulgarity crossing the line. He says, "The tone of the film is bold and provocative. But it does not cross the line into vulgarity. Vulgarity is always subjective. The film is bold in terms of language also and few people might feel it as dirty and take it as an offence. The concept is bold but at the same time entertaining."
