Akshay as clean-shaven sardar in Patiala House

Akshay Kumar seems to have learned his lessons from Singh Is Kinng. He was criticised by the Sikh community for sporting a trimmed beard look in the film. So, to make sure that his latest film Patiala House doesn't get into such a controversy, the actor decided to play a clean-shaven sardar.

Patiala House is said to be inspired by England cricketer Monty Panesar's life. Nikhil Advani said that the film would be screened at Patiala on Thursday (Feb 10). He added that actors Akshay, Anushka Sharma and Dimple Kapadia would attend the screening.
