Priyanka Chopra to play a challenging role in Barfee

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who has carved a niche for herself after portraying roles in films like 7 Khoon Maaf and What's Your Rashee, says that her role as a mentally-challenged girl in the upcoming film Barfee is by far the most challenging role.

Priyanka was recently seen unveiling the wedding collections of the jewellery brand at The Great Wedding Carnival, informed the reporters, “I have started shooting for the film, have shot nearly five days till now. I must admit that it is quite a difficult task. There is a very thin line between caricature and real. But surely, this role is by far the most challenging that I have come across.'

Reportedly, the 28-year-old actress has been spending time in a mental asylum to get into the skin of the character. The film also features Ranbir Kapoor (last the duo were seen in the film Anjaana Anjaani), who plays a deaf and dumb person in Barfee. The film is being directed by Anurag Basu.
