Priyanka Chopra now an international pop star

After creating a huge impression as an actor, Priyanka Chopra, a trained western classical singer, is all set to sail in a different boat altogether. The actress will finally release her debut music album internationally. She will write and record songs in English. “OMG OMG...it's finally happened. Big day for me guys... goin nuts!!Just signed a recording deal to release my debut International music album," informed Piggy Chops on her social network site.

The 29-years-old has signed a recording agreement with Universal Music Group (UMG) and Desi Hits. “The album will be in English & will have a worldwide release," she added. Priyanka is very excited for her dream will come true soon. She says, “I've already started working on the album.It's scary but so very exciting & I'm counting on UR support as I begin this exciting new journey."

Priyanka will release the album in North America with Desi Hits through Interscope Records and in other international market through British Island Records. “Music has always been a passion and now I have been given the opportunity to share it with the world. Wish me luck," expressed the National Award winning actress.

Atom Factory CEO Troy Carter, who also manages international pop star Lady Gaga's career, has tied up with Priyanka for managing her music career across the globe. Carter is confident that Priyanka has the talent, drive and creativity to redefine pop music on her own terms.
