Filmmaker
Ekta
Kapoor
had
to
rework
on
the
song
promo
of
her
film
Ragini
MMS
so
that
the
Censor
Board
passes
it
with
a
U/A
(under
adult
supervision)
rating.
Earlier,
the
film's
TV
promo
received
an
A
rating.
However,
Ekta
wanted
to
air
the
promotional
song
'Raat
Akeli
Hai'
as
it
gives
a
clear
idea
of
what
the
film
is
about.
Ekta
wants
to
portray
the
thrilling
sensation
that
Ragini
MMS
carries
through
the
promotional
song.
Ekta
felt
that
an
A
certificate
to
the
promotional
song
will
harm
the
viewership
of
the
film
which
has
a
mass
appeal.
Promos
with
adult
certificate
can
only
air
after
11
pm,
thus
Ragini
MMS
will
lose
out
on
a
large
number
of
eyeballs.
She
asked
her
team
to
work
on
the
promo
and
make
certain
cuts
from
the
steamy
portions
so
that
the
song
gets
a
U/A
certificate.
The
song
went
through
three
round
of
changes
before
it
was
presented
to
the
censor
board.
The
board
is
yet
to
give
a
reply.
Tanuj
Garg,
CEO
Balaji
Motion
Pictures
confirms
to
Mid
Day,
"The
censors
asked
us
to
make
some
cuts
if
we
wanted
a
U/A
certificate
for
television.
We
complied."
