Filmmaker
Ram
Gopal
Varma
now
wants
to
show
his
upcoming
film
Not
A
Love
Story,
based
on
the
Neeraj
Grover
murder
case
to
convicted
Kannada
actress
Maria
Susairaj.
The
director
had
earlier
refused
to
screen
the
film
for
her.
Not
a
Love
Story
is
a
crime
thriller,
directed
by
RGV.
The
film
is
inspired
by
2008
murder
case
of
the
television
executive's
Neeraj
Grover.
"I
would
like
to
see
Maria's
reaction
on
the
film
on
account
of
how
close
her
emotional
state
would
have
been
to
that
of
Mahi
Gill's
character.
I
am
really
keen
to
show
Maria
Susairaj
the
film
on
the
basis
of
like
I
always
maintained
that
it
has
been
inspired
from
her
story," Varma
said
on
micro-blogging
site
Twitter.
The
film
stars
Mahi
Gill,
Deepak
Dobriyal
and
Ajay
Gehi
in
pivotal
roles
will
releases
on
August
19.
Maria
was
guilty
of
disposing
the
body
of
Grover
along
with
her
fiance
Emile
Jerome
had
sent
a
legal
notice
to
Varma
saying
that
he
did
not
have
right
to
release
a
film
based
on
her
life
without
her
consent
and
had
allegedly
demanded
a
private
screening.
However,
RGV
had
refused
to
show
her
the
film,
saying
that
Not
A
Love
Story
is
inspired
by
the
incident
related
to
Grover's
murder
and
not
completely
based
on
her
and
that
it
varies
from
the
real
life
incident.
"I
refused
to
show
Not
a
love
story
to
Maria
because
she
was
threatening
legal
action
but
now
it
has
been
kept
aside
so
I
want
to
voluntarily
show
her
the
film,"
Varma
said.
Varma
also
plans
to
show
the
film
to
the
residents
of
the
building
in
Malad
where
the
gruesome
murder
took
place.
The
film
was
also
shot
in
the
same
building.
"Since
the
original
murder
happened
there
I
am
organising
screening
of
Not
a
Love
Story
for
Dheeraj
Solitaire
residents
at
Fame
Inorbit
on
Wednesday
9pm,"
Varma
said.
