who

died
yesterday
following
a
massive
cardiac
attack.
Bhowmick
was
82-years-old
and
is
survived
by
his
wife
and
two
sons.
He
breathed
his
last
at
his
residence
in
suburban
Mumbai
last
evening.
Bhowmick
who
has
been
associated
with
the
film
industry
from
past
five
decades
has
worked
with
directors
like
Nasir
Hussain,
Hrishikesh
Mukherjee,
J
Om
Prakash,
Subhash
Ghai,
and
Rakesh
Roshan.
Some
of
his
great
works
include
Aradhana,
Love
in
Tokyo,
Brahmachari,
Caravan,
Golmaal,
Hum
Kisi
Se
Kum
Nahi,
An
Evening
in
Paris,
Aayi
Milan
Ki
Bela,
Janwar,
Taal,
Karan
Arjun,
Soldier,
Koi
Mil
Gaya
and
krrish.
Bhowmick
has
also
directed
a
film
in
the
year
1973,
starring
Rajesh
Khanna
and
Sharmila
Tagore,
Raja
Ra.
