Saif Ali Khan vows to do his best to honour his father's legacy

Actor Saif Ali Khan, who was anointed the new Nawab of Pataudi, is overwhelmed by the village heads' respect and kindness. The Bollywood star succeeded Mansoor Ali Khan as the new Nawab on October 31. He says that he would do his best to honour his late father's legacy.

Talking to the PTI, Saif Ali Khan shared his excitement about being anointed as the new Nawab of Pataudi. The B-Town star said, "I am overwhelmed with the kindness and simplicity the village heads have shown me and my family today..and the respect to my late father."

Saif Ali Khan added, “This is a huge responsibility for me..to take my father's legacy forward in whatever way I can. Princely titles no longer exist..but family values and tradition do..I shall be conscious of this always and do the best I can for Pataudi."
