Salman Khan ditches Telugu actor Mahesh Babu

Actor Salman Khan is tired of his repeated roles of a cop. His back to back successes Dabangg, Wanted, Garv, all portrayed his role as a police officer. Poor Sallu, who is fed up with his same kind of roles, has now decided to drop the idea of remaking Mahesh Babu's telugu movie Dookudu.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, Salman, who has played a cop in at least five films was not too keen on repeating the act. Had he taken up Dookudu, the actor would be required to don the same avatar again. “In Dabangg 2, which goes on floors in March, Salman plays a cop yet again. That basically forced him to rethink Dookudu," the source added.

Reportedly, Salman Khan's family were very keen for the Hindi remake of the film. Salman"s sister Alvira Khan and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri wanted to produce the remake. But the actor's decision to back out came as a shock to all.
