Actor Salman Khan's latest movie Bodyguard is slated to hit the screens this Wednesday on Eid. But the actor will be not be in India and he will be missing the release of his much-anticipated film. The Dabangg star, who is suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, has already left for the United States to undergo a nerve surgery on Monday night.
Earlier last week, Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera had revealed that the actor was suffering from a nerve disorder that caused intense pain in the face and jaws. He had also hinted on his possible trip to the US for treatment. Later in an interview to a English daily, Khan himself confirmed his trip to the US.
Salman Khan was also missing at the special screening of the movie Bodyguard. Before leaving for the US, Salman Khan took to his Twitter page to wish his fans. The Bollywood star tweeted, "Challo see you guys. On my way to fix the short circuit in my nerve, take care and hope you like Bodyguard."
However, Salman Khan is known for his very public appearances in Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Besides Bodyguard release, the Wanted star will also miss the celebrations of these two festivals, as he will be undergoing nerve surgery in the US during these festive seasons.
