Looks
like
actor
Salman
Khan
has
again
got
back
to
his
trouble
lander
mode.
While,
yesterday
he
was
trapped
in
a
land
controversy,
today
the
actor
is
penalised
for
smoking
in
public.
This
public
figure,
who
is
eagerly
waiting
for
his
film
Ready
to
hit
the
screens
this
weekend,
got
into
trouble
while
shooting
in
Punjab.
While
shooting
for
his
film
Bodyguard
in
Punjab,
Salman
on
Tuesday
was
penalised
by
the
local
administration
for
smoking
in
public
place
at
a
hotel.
Taking
a
photograph
as
a
proof,
which
was
published
in
a
daily,
the
Patiala
district
administration
issued
a
notice
(challan)
to
Salman
Khan
late
Tuesday,
which
was
ironically
observed
as
World
No
Tabacco
Day.
"We
have
issued
challan
on
the
basis
of
a
photograph,
showing
Salman
smoking
at
a
public
place
in
a
hotel,
published
in
a
newspaper
Saturday.
We
have
also
issued
a
warning
to
the
hotel
authorities," informed
an
official
here.
A
crew
member
of
the
film's
production
unit
received
the
notice
on
Salman's
behalf.
Salman
or
his
representative
will
now
appear
before
the
district
magistrate,
who
will
decide
the
penalty
amount.
Salman
came
here
on
May
24.
Reportedly,
a
Patiala-based
NGO
has
also
decided
to
serve
a
legal
notice
to
Salman
for
smoking
in
public.
In
January
2009,
Salman
was
issued
two
notices
for
smoking
at
a
public
place
in
Kurali
town
in
Punjab's
Mohali
district.
