Not
only
the
movie
lovers
but
also
the
industry
experts
and
legends
are
excited
about
the
sequel
of
the
cult
film
Mr.
India,
which
starred
Sridevi,
Anil
Kapoor
and
Amrish
Puri.
While
Mr.
India
2
will
mark
as
the
come
back
of
the
popular
on-screen
couple
Sridevi
and
Anil,
the
role
of
the
cult
villian
'Mogambo',
will
definitely
miss
its
original
star
Amrish
Puri.
However,
producer
Boney
Kapoor
has
found
a
suitable
replacement
for
the
role.
He
is
desperate
on
roping
in
Salman
Khan
for
the
baddie
role
and
says
that
the
actor
is
kicked
about
the
idea.
“I
have
spoken
to
Salman
about
the
idea
and
he
is
kicked
about
it.
I
want
only
him
for
the
negative
lead." says
Boney
Boney
agrees
that
Mr.
India
2
wouldn't
be
the
same
without
the
deadly
portrayal
of
'Mogambo' by
Amrish
Puri,
however
he
is
confident
that
Salman
has
a
great
potential
to
play
a
bad
man
on
screen.
“But
we
need
to
finish
the
script
and
show
him.
I
will
be
roping
in
international
experts
to
create
a
very
menacing
look
for
him,"
Kapoor
informs.
Giving
out
more
details
about
Mr.
India
2
project,
which
will
be
made
in
3D
and
has
a
budget
of
150
crores,
Boney
Kapoor
says
that
the
original
director
Shekhar
Kapur
will
definitely
be
an
integral
part
of
the
second
installment.
He
also
informs
that
he
has
plans
of
roping
in
son
Arjun
Kapoor
and
a
newcomer,
as
his
love
interest,
for
the
film.
On
the
insistence
of
Shekhar
Kapur,
the
original
writer
duo
Salim-Javed
of
Mr.
India
have
collaborated
again
to
write
the
science
fiction
film
Mr.
India
2.
Interestingly,
Mr
India
was
the
last
script
Salim-Javed
ever
wrote
together.
Though
Boney
did
not
reveal
the
story
line
of
the
film,
he
maintained
that
the
original
element
of
the
film,
'an
invisible
man,
fantastic
dialogues
and
song'
will
definitely
be
integrated
in
the
sci-fi.
AR
Rahman
has
been
roped
in
to
compose
the
music
for
Mr.
India
2.
Boney
will
co-produce
the
sequel
along
with
Sahara
Motion
Pictures.
