Salman Khan to shoot for Ek Tha Tiger in Iraq

Actor Salman Khan will soon be flying to Iraq for a shooting schedule of minimum eight days for his film Ek Tha Tiger. This YRF project, would be the first Bollywood film to be shot in Iraq. However, lead actress and ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif will not be getting this rare opportunity. Salman will be shooting alone for some action sequence for the romantic thriller.

After consulting with Salman Khan, YRF and director Kabir Khan sent a letter yo the Iraqi government a few months ago. The letter requested the government to permit them to shoot a major action sequence in the country with Salman Khan.

The government granted filming permissions and has also provided provisions to ensure the security of the cast and crew of Ek Tha Tiger. Moreover, the government has made arrangements for the crew to commute by helicopter from one shooting location to another. Kabir Khan in some days will be travelling to the country to zero down the spots where Salman will be shooting. Later Salman Khan will be travelling to Iraq in August to shoot the action sequences. It will a minimum of eight days schedule.
