Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black sets case quashed

Ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally got a sigh of relief, after The Bombay High Court quashed a case filed against him in the year 2005. An antique furniture dealer, Farida Hoosenally had registered a case against him alleging that her furniture were destroyed during a fire accident on the sets of Black.

In 2004, a fire broke out on the sets of Black, destroyed costumes and furnitures. Following the incident, Hoosenally filed a case in the Borivali Metropolitan Court against Sanjay Leela Bhansali alleging of criminal negligence. Later, the director moved the high court, asking court to quash the case.

Relieved Sanjay Leela Bhansali has expressed his happiness. He said, “"It is one of the happiest moments of my life. I can say justice has prevailed.", the Times of India quoted the director as saying.
