Saroj Khan's daughter dies of liver failure

Life can be so fickle, one moment it's the best of days and the other it could be something that we never dreamt of. Such is the case with well known Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan who recently suffered the loss of her daughter.

It is learnt that Saroj Khan's daughter, 42-year-old Cuckoo, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, passed away on Saturday due to liver failure, multi-organ failure and septicaemia.

Cuckoo, who had been admitted to the ICU regularly for chronic liver failure, was being treated by Dr Samad Ansari and Dr Jaleel Parkar at the hospital. Initially, a liver transplant was advised, but her condition had worsened so much that even a transplant would not have helped.
