“Shahrukh is a great inspiration” - Satyajeet Dubey

They say 'well begin is half done'. Debutante Satyajeet Dubey is living the idiom, as he has got a dream start in Bollywood with a Shahrukh Khan film. The 20-year-old-actor, who plays one of the lead roles in Always Kabhi Kabhi along with Ali Fazal and Giselli Monteiro, is all praise for Shahrukh, saying that he is a great inspiration.

“Shahrukh Khan is a great inspiration for all of us. He just advised to put all your heart in whatever you do and said I must give my 100 per cent and be honest towards work," Satyajeet told PTI.

The young actor said that his stint with theatre helped him. “Theatre helped me a lot though I have not acted or performed on stage but I used to do back stage work. So by observing theatre artists and some renowned actors like Naseeruddin Shah...I learnt a lot. I don''t have any filmi background. I think my observation worked well for me," he added.

So, what character does Satyajeet play in the film? “I am playing Tariq Naqvi. He is a geek and his heart is of pure gold. He is a very chilled out person and people call him Einstein, as he is a very thinking guy. I am paired opposite Zoa. Ours is a love-hate relation," he said.

Always Kabhi Kabhi is a romance film directed by Roshan Abbas and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. It is scheduled for release June 17.
