Shahid Kapoor's tribute to Michael Jackson interrupted

Shahid Kapoor, who was to perform at Times Square, New York on August 29 to pay tribute to his favourite singer and dancer Michael Jackson was reportedly cancelled due to a storm. The event that had to be suddenly cancelled owing to Hurricane Irene is now expected to take place on August 29.

The show, which was kept under wraps in India comprises of world class dancers who have been practicing for weeks.

As per a leading daily, the producers of Mausam had taken great pains to get the required permission to showcase the dancing prowess of Shahid Kapoor.

Confirming to the information, Mausam co-producer Sheetal Talwar said, "We were all set to have Shahid's performance on August 29, but now another date is being worked out."
