Shahrukh's bodyguard skips Bodyguard felicitation ceremony

As a part of promotion activity, the filmmakers of Bodyguard, which stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, had organised the felicitation ceremony of bodyguards. But Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan's real-life bodyguard chose to stay away from the event.

The felicitation ceremony of bodyguards was held in Mumbai on Tuesday, 30th August. Actress Kareena Kapoor felicitated the bodyguards of several Bollywood actors. The bodyguards of Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan were honoured for their dedicated service to the superstars on the occasion.

After felicitating the bodyguards, Kareena Kapoor addressed the promotional event and said, "I am sure they (makers) would have invited Shahrukh's bodyguard also like others. But it seems he (Shahrukh) might be travelling so his bodyguard would be with him."

However, sources claim that the rivalry between Shahrukh and Salman might have led the former's bodyguard to give the event a miss. Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera, who launched the movie promo, was also not present at the event due to the actor's bad health.
