Shahrukh's Don 2 set to release in 41 countries

Shahrukh Khan's much-awaited film Don 2: The King is Back will release in 41 countries. Don 2 is directed by Farhan Akhtar, who also helmed the first installment Don: The Chase Begins Again (2006), a box-office hit and a remake of 1978 Hindi cult classic Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan.

Farhan Akhtar took to his Twitter page to share his excitement with his fans. The director wrote, "Learnt yesterday that Don 2 will release in 41 countries worldwide. Wow!! I guess that's the number of countries now out to catch him!!" Don 2 will release in UK two days before its December 23 opening in India and the rest of the world.

However, the film Don 2 is set to release in both 2D and 3D formats on 23 December and it will also be available in Tamil and Telugu. Farhan Akhtar further tweeted, "Feel so proud to see the extent to which interest in Hindi movies has grown.. Thanks to you.. the Fans (pat yourself on back moment)."
