Superstar
Shahrukh
Khan
is
playing
double
roles
like
Shekhar
Subramanium
and
G.One
in
his
much-anticipate
movie
Ra.One.
In
an
interview
posted
on
Youtube,
the
Bollywood
actor
speaks
about
the
similarities
and
differences
between
the
two
characters
and
the
challenges
he
had
in
playing
them.
"Shekhar
Subramanium
is
the
real
character,
who
is
the
father
in
the
film
Ra.One.
We
wanted
to
play
south
Indians
-
little
bit
of
caricature.
He
is
a
Tamilian,
he
will
have
curly
hair
and
he
is
man
with
golden
heart.
He
believes
in
goodness.
He
is
goofy,
geeky
and
he
is
a
software
engineer
and
a
game
designer.
He
believes
that
goodness
is
the
best
thing
human
beings
can
have."
"On
the
other
hand
to
play
G.One,
what
I
had
to
do
was
obviously
have
two
different
looks,
which
was
completely
opposite.The
body
was
most
inline
and
stomach
and
physique
have
been
worked
upon
so
that
you
can
have
six
packs
and
look
like
sterdy
and
dudey.
The
hair
is
straight,
focused
straight
and
blue
eyes."
"Shekhar
is
little
dark,
while
G.One
is
fair.
So
we
wanted
it
to
be
completely
contrasting
in
physicality.
Shekhar
is
animated
over
the
top,
while
G.One
is
very
straight
and
quiet,
unidimentional
in
acting
because
he
is
a
machine.
As
an
actor,
I
wanted
only
thing
to
do
is
that
the
innocence
in
Shekhar
should
be
captured
in
G.One."
"I
wanted
the
toughest
not
to
overpower
the
innocent
and
child
like
quality
of
this
machine
or
a
virtual
person.
It
was
interesting
to
play
both.
One
is
geeky
clumsy
and
one
supposedly
graceful
and
straight
forward.
It
was
nice
to
play
that
quite
dichotomous
and
different
for
an
actor
to
do
in
one
film."
