Actor Shahrukh Khan, who is busy with promotional activities of his film Ra.One, has vowed to do away with cigarettes after the release of his much-anticipated movie. The Indian superstar says that his science-fiction flick speaks about the ill-effects of cigarettes.
Shahrukh Khan spoke about quitting smoking at a promotional event in Mumbai. The Bollywood actor said, "I want to give up smoking and will soon do it. Even my daughter keeps on asking me when I will quit it. I will give up the habit after Ra.One releases."
Shahrukh claimed that Ra.One shows ten evils in the world and smoking is also an evil, which affects the health of an individual. The King Khan added, "There is one scene in Ra.One, which speaks about the ill-effects of cigarettes, which is in the form of conversation between father and son."
However, this is not the first time Shahrukh Khan is vowing to ditch his dangerous habit. He had even spoke about it on several occasions including one on the 'World No Tobacco Day. But all his previous attempts at giving up smoking did not fructify. Now, it should be seen whether Shahrukh would really try to give it up.
