Actress Shilpa Shetty has planned to retire from acting in films after releasing her upcoming movie The Desire, which has been delayed for long time. The Bollywood star, who will appear on big screen in a full-fledged role after four years, has revealed that The Desire is not her comeback movie, but it will be her last film. She says that she wants to focus on her personal life and business.
In an interview with IANS, Shilpa Shetty spoke extensively about her future plans. The actress said that she has decided not to do any movies after The Desire because her priorities have changed and she wants to concentrate on her travel and business. Meanwhile, Shilpa said, "This is not a comeback. Actually this film got delayed; so it seems I am coming back after a long time."
Shilpa Shetty added that audiences can see her for last time on big screen in the movie The Desire. “I think if people want to see whatever little I have done, they should go and watch the movie. Marriage is a full-time job...I'll keep doing ads, appearances and television but along with my business," IANS quotes her as saying.
It should be noted here that Shilpa Shetty may quit acting in films, but she will not leave film industry. She says that she will plan to produce movies. However, she is featured alongside Chinese actor Xia Yu in her latest movie The Desire, which deals with the love affair between an Odissi dancer and Chinese artiste.
