Vidya Balan booked for her indecent acts in The Dirty Picture

Actor Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture might have turned out this year's one of the major hits but the film has entrapped Balan in legal issues. According to NDTV reports, police have registered an FIR against Vidya for posing in indecent photographs on the posters and promos of the film The Dirty Picture.

As per reports suggests, the complaint was filed by an advocate claiming that the posters and promos of the film were "obscene" and were "causing inconvenience to women" in the Nallakunta area and other parts of Hyderabad.

He also alleged that the film was "spoiling the minds of the people and causing harm to the society". Following a court directive, a case was booked against Vidya Balan under Section 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and relevant sections under the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.
