Vidya Balan honoured in Australia

Vidya Balan has been honoured at the ongoing 2011 Indian Film Festival: Bollywood and Beyond by the Mayor of Melbourne in Australia. The 10-day film festival started on Sunday (March 13) , which is screening a special retrospective of the actress.

Vidya Balan's recent movie No One Killed Jessica kicked-off the festival in Sydney and her other acclaimed movies like Parineeta, Ishqiya, Lage Raho Munnabhai and Paa will be screened at the fest. Other than that Salman Khan's Dabangg, Rituparno Ghosh"s Bengali film Abohomaan and some regional movies will also be screened.

Meanwhile, the actress took this opportunity to promote her upcoming films like Sujoy Ghosh's Kahani and Ekta Kapoor's The Dirty Picture.
