Nampally
criminal
courts
in
Hyderabad
ordered
the
Nallakunta
police
station
in
the
city
to
book
a
criminal
case
against
Vidya
Balan
for
posing
for
indecent
photographs
for
The
Dirty
Picture
posters
and
promos.
The
orders
were
passed
after
advocate
SK
Azad
filed
a
petition
in
the
city
court
against
the
actress.
The
judge
asked
police
to
book
Vidya
Balan
under
relevant
sections
of
Indian
Penal
Code
and
also
under
Indecent
Representation
of
Women
(Prohibition)
Act,
1986.
According
to
the
petitioner,
the
public
display
of
The
Dirty
Picture
posters
and
promotional
advertisements
spoilt
the
minds
of
the
youth.
Not
long
ago,
brother
of
late
Silk
Smitha,
V
Naga
Varaprasad
Rao
had
accused
the
makers
of
The
Dirty
Picture
of
portraying
his
sister
in
a
negative
manner.
He
had
also
moved
the
Andhra
Pradesh
High
Court,
objecting
its
release.
However,
the
court
refused
to
stop
the
release
of
The
Dirty
Picture
since
the
film
makers
denied
the
allegations
that
the
film
is
based
on
Silk
Smitha's
life.
The
Dirty
Picture,

by

and
directed
by
Milan
Luthria,
stars
Vidya
Balan,
Naseeruddin
Shah,
Emraan
Hashmi
and
Tusshar
Kapoor.
