Vidya
Balan's
upcoming
movie
The
Dirty
Picture
finally
lands
up
in
the
High
Court,
after
late
actress
Silk
Smitha's
brother
filed
a
writ
petition
in
the
Andhra
Pradesh
High
Court
alleging
character
assassination
of
his
sister,
and
saying
that
the
family
was
not
contacted
by
the
filmmakers.
IBN
LIVE
reports
that
the
writ
petition
has
been
filed
after
issuing
two
legal
notices
to
Balaji
Telefilms,
the
producers
of
the
film.
As
the
filmmakers
failed
to
reply
to
the
notices,
Prasad
decided
to
move
the
High
Court
over
the
issue.
Smitha's
family
came
to
know
that
they
made
the
obscene
film
based
on
inputs
given
by
an
alleged
boyfriend
of
Smitha
in
Chennai.
A
furious
Prasad
lashed
out
at
the
makers
of
The
Dirty
Picture
and
asked,
“What
right
do
the
producer
and
the
director
have
to
make
this
film,
without
the
family's
consent?"
But
now,
when
things
have
finally
taken
a
nasty
turn
and
got
entangled
in
High
Court
issues,
will
The
Dirty
Picture
have
a
smooth
release
or
it
has
to
undergo
several
unwanted
hurdles
in
furture?
