YRF launches new young banner Y─Films

India"s topmost film studio, Yash Raj Films, has just launched 'Y─Films", a subsidiary that will cater exclusively to young audiences! The 'Y─Films" tagline expresses the sole intention of the company: 'A New Studio with Films of the Youth, by the Youth, for the Youth", while the logo is the age old symbol for rock and everything that is cool!

'Y─Films" aims to give the youth a creative outlet and voice that will entertain and unite them through films and more. The banner will produce 3 films per year on an average and these will cover many genres such as thrillers, comedies, romances, chick flicks, capers etc. 'Y─Films" will also provide a platform for fresh talent, both in front of, as well as behind the camera.
