Zarine Khan undergoes surgery for appendicitis

Actress Zarine Khan was operated for appendicitis recently after complaining of acute stomach pain on the sets of Housefull 2.

Zarine Khan, who made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan starrer Veer was diagnosed with appendicitis and needed immediate medical care. She was rushed to the hospital to undergo surgery while shooting at Filmistan in Mumbai for the multi-starrer film Housefull 2, directed by Sajid Khan. Concerned over how they would manage to shoot in her absence, Zarine was a little sceptical. However, the rest of the cast insisted on the surgery and moved their dates around to accommodate the operation that was to be performed on Zarine Khan.

Speaking to the press, director Sajid said, "Zarine is an absolute delight to work with. When she told me about her operation, I requested a change in schedule from other actors. They all obliged, as everybody is very fond of her."
